Nobody's Rogue

Nobody’s Rogue high res.jpg
Things aren’t always what they seem when opposites collide.

Malcolm Kennedy, Earl of Cassilis, spent his time during the war watching the enemy’s every move, but he never envisioned his reconnaissance skills would come into play at a friend’s house party . When he catches the famed phantom prowler red-handed with her hands deep inside a chest of jewels, he has no choice but to apprehend her, despite her objections.

Miss Annabel ‘Lizzie’ Barclay had finally tracked down the jewels that were stolen from her family months ago. She’d been chasing the thief and waiting for the right time to make her move and the party was the perfect setting. Until the handsome Scot with a voice like smooth whisky catches her in the act of retrieving the gems, thwarting her attempt.

Lizzie pleads for Malcolm to believe her and tells him she can prove the jewels belong to her family and not his friend. Skeptical, Malcolm questions her and her actions, but for reasons that are purely selfish, he agrees to accompany her to Stonehaven so she can prove that what she says is true. But the trip turns out to be harder than either of them expected. As they travel together, feelings start to stir, something neither of them want to admit to and it has Malcolm questioning his intelligence work.

Can he catch the true phantom prowler and keep his heart intact, or will he lose both as he searches for the truth?
